Dr. Timothy Jeider is a psychiatrist whose work includes general and child and adolescent psychiatry. He has experience supporting young people and families across behavioral health settings in Nevada, with an emphasis on thoughtful evaluation and developmentally appropriate care.
At Rise, Dr. Jeider contributes a psychiatric perspective to the broader treatment process, helping the team consider emotional, behavioral, developmental, and medication-related needs as part of individualized care. His collaborative approach supports communication among adolescents, families, and the professionals involved in treatment.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist | Nevada Medical License 14946
Dr. Sid Khurana is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He completed his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief fellow.
His professional background includes work with neurodevelopmental conditions, attention and mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and other psychiatric needs that can begin during childhood or adolescence.
At Rise, Dr. Khurana brings this experience to the medical and psychiatric dimensions of coordinated residential treatment, with care guided by each adolescent’s presentation, needs, and treatment plan.

Alvin Kenon brings more than two decades of leadership experience across behavioral health, public safety, and youth-serving systems. A Nevada Licensed Clinical Social Worker, he has led clinical and residential teams serving adolescents with significant behavioral and mental health needs.
His Nevada LCSW license is current through March 31, 2027, with no disciplinary actions reported. His background in crisis intervention, de-escalation, program development, and team leadership informs a structured, trauma-informed approach to care. Alvin holds a Master of Social Work and an Executive MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
His work is grounded in servant leadership and the belief that consistent support, clear expectations, and confidence in a young person’s potential can help create a meaningful path forward.
Executive Director
Kayla Jefferson is a healthcare executive and operational leader with experience in behavioral health, regulatory compliance, organizational development, and human resources.
As Executive Director of Rise Adolescent Treatment Center, she provides leadership across organizational operations, compliance, workforce development, and program implementation.
Her background also includes behavioral health licensing, facility development, policy and process design, and staff development. Kayla brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to building the systems and teams needed to support responsible, sustainable behavioral healthcare.
Director of Strategic Growth
Devon Herrera is the Director of Strategic Growth at Rise Adolescent Treatment Center, where she develops partnerships that help connect adolescents and families with appropriate behavioral health resources. With nine years of experience in behavioral health, her background includes strategic growth, community engagement, and relationship development with healthcare providers, schools, behavioral health professionals, and community organizations. Devon’s work is centered on reducing barriers to care, strengthening referral relationships, and helping families navigate connections to treatment with clarity and compassion.
